The Fire Awareness course is designed for all levels of staff who have fire safety responsibilities and who may need to safely operate fire extinguishers in the event of a fire.

Each course is tailored to the needs of the company in which it is held and all courses are tutored by either experienced firefighters or suitably trained fire trainers.

The Fire Awareness course can br run as a half day or a full day course with additional practical training included if required and if the client's premises allow for this.

Course Contents:

• Regulations/legislation relating to fire safety
• Risk assessment and understanding fire,
• Fire prevention and common causes of fire,
• Types of fire appliances and which type of fire they are used on,
• Action on discovering a fire and how to call the fire rescue service.
